Books

I'm planning to publish two books in 2009 - 'Creative Landscape Photography' and 'Creative Flower & Plant Photography'. These will be companion volumes containing full page reproductions of my images accompanied by text describing my approach and techniques. My hope is that these books will be both a guide and an inspiration to other photographers who share my passion for the natural world. Both books will be soft bound and reasonably priced.

But first I'm producing a fine art monograph of my black & white pinhole landscapes, entitled 'Lensless Landscapes' - this will be available later in 2008.  My intention is to produce a high quality, casebound edition in a limited print run that I hope will become as collectible as my exhibition prints. Each copy will be numbered and signed by me.

Exhibitions

A permanent exhibition of my landscape work will be on show at the White Hart Hotel & Conference Centre, Cold Bath Road, Harrogate (tel. 01423 505681) from the end of June 2008.

I’m also hoping to have at least one exhibition later this year or early 2009 in a location outside of Yorkshire (my hope is to secure a venue in Cumbria). More details will follow here as they become available.

I have just agreed a date to exhibit at Joe Cornish's wonderful gallery in Northallerton. An exhibition of my B&W landscape prints will be on show in September 2009. More information will follow as it becomes available.

Articles 2005, 2006 & 2007

I've moved the list of articles published in 2005 to a new page - here; the list for 2006 here; and 2007 here. My plan is to make some of these available as PDFs so that visitors to my site can download them to read at their leisure - this will be part of a major revamp of my website (when I can find the time!). Articles 2008

'Amateur Photographer' have published my article on 'Lowlight Landscapes' in the 2nd February 2008 issue. Many of the photographs being used are new images taken with the Phase One P20+ back and my Hasselblad cameras.

'Amateur Photographer' have now published (10th May 2008) an article on my experience of using the aforementioned combination.
