Workshops » The Business of Photography - Selling Your Images
If you want to make money to cover the costs of an expensive hobby or are looking to develop an alternative career then this workshop is for you. This 1 day workshop is aimed at photographers looking to sell their images (on a part or full time basis).

The vital aspects of freelancing are covered: -
-
Defining your goals (e.g. setting clear objectives & targets)
-
Identifying your markets (e.g. finding out who are the potential buyers of your work)
-
Accessing your chosen markets (e.g. ensuring potential buyers know who you are and what you have to offer)
-
Making a sale (e.g. maximising the chances of making a sale on a regular basis)
-
Getting organised for freelancing (e.g. setting up systems and coping with the administrative work)
The content of the day is based on my 20+ years experience of freelancing and on material researched in this country and the US. Each participant is given a workbook that includes notes of my presentation and a set of worksheets that are completed as we go through the day. These are designed to help individuals plan next steps based on their personal goals and aspirations. It also contains a recommended reading list.
As the programme is designed to be interactive, with time for question and discussion, there will be a maximum of 12 people per workshop.
The workshop will run from 9.15am to 5.00pm on the 8th December 2012 at the White Hart Hotel & Conference Centre, Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Cost - £135 per person (including lunch, tea & coffee)
