I have been invited by Joe Cornish's Gallery in Northallerton, North Yorkshire to run a couple of 2 day workshops in 2010 in partnership with photographer and Adobe Photoshop expert, Mark Banks.

As part of the gallerys 'Capture2Computer' workshop programmes these two day sessions, designed for a maximum of 6 people, will consist of a talk and fieldwork session on Day 1 followed by Day 2 in the computer suite at the gallery working on images taken the previous day (using either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements - the attendees choice). 

Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Garden, North Yorkshire
(27th & 28th May 2010)

This property, owned by the National Trust, is a World Heritage site and is full of wonderful photographic opportunities - from the picturesque ruins of the 12th century abbey situated in a wooded valley to the formal layout of one of England's most spectacular water gardens.

Thorp Perrow Arboretum, North Yorkshire
(28th & 29th October 2010)

The autumn colours & textures are usually stunning in this magnificent woodland that extends over 85 acres. Thorp Perrow contains many species that are endangered in their natural habitat and has some rare trees that are the largest specimens of their type in Great Britain. The photographic potential is unlimited - from portraits of majestic individual trees to abstract shots of red & golden foliage and intimate studies of tree bark and fallen leaves on the woodland floor.

The cost for each workshop is £375 - this includes travel to and from the location plus an evening meal on day 1, overnight accommodation and cooked breakfast. Lunch and regular refreshments at the gallery on the 2nd day are also provided.
